StirraBack to the waitlist

Privacy

Last updated October 1, 2026

Stirra is not out yet. Right now this site does one thing: it keeps a waitlist. This page explains what we keep when you join, why, who helps us run it, and how to have it deleted.

The short version

  • We keep your email address so we can tell you when Stirra opens.
  • We never sell or rent your information, and we don’t show ads.
  • No advertising or tracking cookies.
  • Email hello@stirra.io and we’ll delete your signup.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we store:

  • Your email address, which you type in.
  • Your mixer number (your place in line) and the date you joined.
  • Your invite code, a random code in your invite link. It doesn’t contain your email.
  • Who invited you, if you joined through a friend’s link (we store their invite code).

We don’t ask for your name, phone number, location or payment details, and we don’t collect information about you from other companies.

Like every website, our hosting provider sees technical details when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type. We use these only to keep the site running and to tell real visitors from bots (see “Who helps us run Stirra” below).

How we use it

  • To send you news about Stirra’s launch and early access. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
  • To show your mixer number and share card after you sign up.
  • To make invite links work and to know who invited whom.
  • To protect the waitlist from spam and fake signups.

If you’re in the UK or European Union: we rely on your consent for launch emails (you can withdraw it at any time) and on our legitimate interest in running a secure, working waitlist for everything else.

What other people can see

Your share card shows your mixer number and a shortened email, like maya.r••••@gmail.com. It only goes where you choose to share it. When a friend opens your invite link, they see your mixer number, not your email.

Who helps us run Stirra

We don’t sell or share your information for advertising. We use these service providers, who process it only on our behalf:

  • Cloudflare hosts the website and stores the waitlist in a database in the United States. Its Turnstile check uses technical signals from your browser to tell people from bots. If we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, it counts visits without cookies and without identifying you.
  • An email delivery service will send our launch emails. We’ll name it on this page before we send the first one.

We may also share information if the law requires it, or with a company that takes over Stirra, in which case this policy keeps applying to your information.

Cookies and storage

We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies. While you browse, your browser may remember a friend’s invite code until you close the tab. The bot check may use storage that is strictly necessary for security.

How long we keep it

We keep your signup until you ask us to delete it or we close the waitlist, whichever comes first. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs for a few days to help us fix errors.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop emailing you. Email hello@stirra.io from the address you signed up with, and we’ll reply within 30 days. Every launch email also has a one-click unsubscribe link.

Depending on where you live (for example the UK, the EU, or US states such as California), you may have further rights, including to object to processing, to receive a copy of your data, and to complain to your local data protection authority. We don’t sell or share personal information as defined by California law, and we treat everyone the same whether or not they use their rights.

Security

The site only works over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and only the Stirra team can see the waitlist. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect small so there’s little to lose.

Children

The waitlist is not meant for children under 13 (under 16 in the EU and UK). If you believe a child has signed up, email us and we’ll delete it.

Changes to this page

When we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top. If the change is significant, we’ll email you before it takes effect.
